Little Chocolate Thieving Children!!!

As some of you know, Clint just got back from Hawaii on Friday (for work and I totally get to go next time) so I asked him to bring me some chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Well Deegan happens to be in love with them too. So this morning while I was brushing my teeth he and Auni went out to the kitchen and got into the box, well I'm pretty sure Deegan did all the dirty work, and probably ate at least 3 or 4. But being the nice brother he is he apparently shared with his sister. This is not Deegan's first offense either, I have caught him several times with chocolate on the breath since we've had them. (he really is quite clean when he eats them I can only tell he's had one if I smell his breath)
Deeg is balling in this picture because he still had one in his hand and I took it away because it obviously was not his first, and they hadn't even eaten breakfast yet.
Then he got over it because he figured out I was taking pictures. But seriously, do you see how clean his mouth is?
And this picture is from a whole different day but kind of went with the other messy face picture. Auni got into the powdered sugar, and when she figured out it tasted good she wasted no time in smashing her whole face into it.

Husband Tag (this is actually the first time i've been tagged)

1. Where did you meet? Blind Date (that neither of us wanted to go on)
2. How long did you date before you got married? 1 year
3. How long have you been married? 5 years
4. What does he do that surprises you? He is actually really good at picking out gifts for me all by himself. He will get me something that I want that I didn't even know I wanted. :)
5. What is your favorite feature of his? I know these these both sound retarded but his muscular shoulders and chest and his jawline.
6. What is your favorite quality of his? Sounds funny but that he is a man's man, I love that he can fix mostly anything, back up a trailer (believe it or not a lot of guys can't), and do all the things that I grew up around. (I always wanted to marry someone with qualities like my Dad and brothers)
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Jean or baby girl :)
8. What is his favorite color? Red or Yamaha Blue
9. What is his facvorite food? A good steak, good BBQ, and Grandma Nette's coconut cream pie.
10. What is his favorite sport? Motocross (I've always had a thing for motocross boys)
11. When and where was your first kiss? In my car in front of his house, and I didn't talk to him for like a month afterward cause it was too soon for me and freaked me out, plus I was actually dating someone else at the time (whoops). But if you ask him he would tell you I totally loved it :)
12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Anything really, just being together. Watching movies after the kids go to bed.
13. Do you have any children? 2 and a half (a baby boy due in Jan.)
14. Does he have a hidden talent? He can make up songs about anything off the top of his head, he is always singing the most random things to our kids.
15. How old is he? He just turned 29 on the 5th.
16. Who said I love you first? Him
17. Whats his favorite type of music? He kind of has a wide range of music that he likes. But he listens to talk radio all the time.
18. What do you admire most about him? His work ethic and loyalty to his family.
19. Do you think he will read this? If I tell him I posted it. Actually he does check our blog every so often so eventually he would anyway.

State Fair Night

I love going to the State Fair, its kind of been a tradition my whole life. So Clint and I took the kids and went with Quin and Kendra (Clint's brother and his wife) last Tuesday. And yes, part of the entertainment are some of the people that crawl out of who knows where to attend the event :)
If you look to the back of this picture you can see Deegan and Brinlee sitting on a bail of hay patiently waiting for their turn to ride the ponies. (sorry the zoom on my camera is pointless if you want to recognize the people in the picture)
I actually feel bad for the poor things having to walk in a circle all day long with their head tied to the bar so they can't move, but the Deeg loved the ride.

Deegan and Brinlee got to ride a few rides while we were there, the little lucky duckies, that was so not allowed when I was little! But their daddy's are the ones who did it. Both of their favorite was the giant corn slide, which I have on video but again without the zoom isn't so great.
Auni was just happy to be there, she was really good the whole night. The video below is the kids on this little race car ride that cracked me up because I didn't expect the little whiplash experience on the corners. It was hilarious to watch.

It's Official

Well it is most definitely a boy! I had my 20wk ultrasound today and I am very happy to say that everything is great with the baby. My only minor draw back is that at this point I have placenta previa hopefully as I get bigger it will move because I really don't want to have a c-section. I go in for another ultrasound at 32wks to recheck it, which I am actually happy about because then I can see how big this little man is getting. He measured 2 days big at this point and that kind of has me worried because Auni measured 9 days small and was still almost 9lbs.

It doesn't get any clearer than this!
This is the top of his face and head, for some reason she didn't do a full profile picture.
And my favorite is always their little feet.

Out of the Mouth of a 3yr old

These are just a couple of the funny things Deegan said to me yesterday. We'll start with the cute one. We were driving past the Mt Timp Temple and as soon as the steeple came into view he says, "Mom, there's the temple there's the temple! We live in there!" and I said we do? And he said "yeah, I'm going to get married and go in there!" (this is all in a voice of total excitement) Then later that same day we went to the fire house car wash, and the guy who took our money was a little on the sturdy side, but when he went to run my card Deeg goes, "hey mom, where did that fat guy go?" I was a little shocked because we don't really use that word so I have no idea where he got that. Oh and my personal favorite, Clint and I were driving with the kids a couple of days ago and out of the blue Deegan says S!$#'s a naughty word huh? Needless to say its a good thing he was in the back and couldn't see our faces because we had a really hard time not laughing.

Happy Birthday Deeg!!!

Deegan turned 3 yesterday! I can't believe that time has gone by this fast, my baby boy has gotten so big!

Lets keep the focus on Deeg in this picture okay, because I look terrible. As most of you know Deeg decided to make his debut a week LATE, he was due Aug. 26 but was born Sept. 1, 2005 at 2312 or 11:12pm. He weighed 9lbs 8oz and has stayed big ever since. (I like to look at my kids baby pictures and see how much they have changed as they've grown, thus the baby picture)

Clint took the pictures so I'm not sure why they turned out fuzzy but there are only a few and these are it for the present opening.
He was so excited about his new toys that he had to have some of them in bed with him. Then after Clint and I got done watching a movie and went to go to bed we walk past Deeg's room to find the light on and the door shut. He was asleep in his bed at that point but had obviously been up playing some more before he conked out.
